We were not allowed to take pictures inside Jane Austen's house, but if you look closely at the window shot, you can see the table that is believed to have been used by Jane to write/revise her celebrated works. How cool is that! That's where the magic happened!!! No grand mahagony desk with a laptop and printer...can you imagine even writing a letter in those days, let alone a NOVEL??? If I had more time on my hands, I'd Photoshop that biker dude out of the home shot. Oh, well. Adds character, I guess. Just goes to show how vast and varied are Jane's admirers!
