These are a few pictures of the small town of Chawton, Hampshire. We saw a thatch roof down the street from Jane's house! Cool! Kind of surreal to park your car across the street from Jane Austen's home....The large estate is Chawton House; formerly owned by Jane and Cassandra's brother. And, the church is St. Nicholas Church on the grounds of Chawton House. Probably where Jane worshipped on Sundays.
